  • 1 teaspoon garlic & onion powder (5 ml)
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1 teaspoon parsley (5 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon pepper (5 ml)
  • 2 cups chopped fresh spinach (480 ml)

  • 2 cups chicken broth (480 ml)
  • 1 lb mild italian sausage (454 g)

🥛Dairy & Eggs(2)

  • 3 oz grated parmesean cheese (85.1 g)can substitute for romano cheese
  • 2 cups heavy cream (480 ml)

🫙Pantry Staples(2)

  • 16 oz dry gnocchi pasta (454 g)
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste (15 ml)

🧂Spices & Seasonings(3)

  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning (5 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon oregano (5 ml)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (2.5 ml)

  • 1 teaspoon crushed red peppers optional (5 ml)optional

👨‍🍳 Instructions

    Add olive oil to medium heat pan, cook 1 diced yellow onion until translucent.

    Add minced garlic and combine.

    Add 1 lb mild italian sausage.

    Once cooked, add seasonings (salt, pepper, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder & crushed red peppers, and tomato paste).

    Add 2 cups chicken broth.

    Once mixture is boiling, add gnocchi. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

    Turn heat down to low and add 2 cups heavy cream.

    Stir in 3 oz grated parmesean cheese.

    Add diced spinach to pan.

    Let it simmer on low for 10 additional minutes to thicken sauce.
