- 1 cup of warm water (240 ml)

Chop the 5 nopales and blend them with 1 cup of warm water.

In a bowl, add corn flour and mix in the blended nopales until you have a smooth, uniform dough.

Let the dough rest for about 5 minutes covered.

Form small balls of the same size from the dough.

Using a press and plastic, flatten the balls into tortillas, thin or as desired.

Preheat the griddle until hot. Cook the tortilla for 30 seconds, flip it, and cook for another 40 seconds. Flip again and leave it until it puffs up. Optionally, you can brown it a little or remove it immediately.
