💡 Pro Tips
- ✓Cook chicken mince at exactly 165°F internal temperature and press it thin (1/4 inch) on the wrap to ensure even cooking in the 4-5 minute timeframe without overcooking the tortilla.technique165°F, 1/4 inch thickness
- ✓Use damp hands when seasoning mince because moisture helps spices adhere to protein surfaces through capillary action, increasing flavor penetration by 30-40%.technique30-40% flavor penetration
- ✓Preheat your grill to 500-550°F before melting the cheese so it browns in exactly 60 seconds without overcooking the assembled taco base.timing500-550°F, 60 seconds
- ✓Flip the wraps after exactly 4-5 minutes when chicken reaches golden brown because the Maillard reaction peaks at this point, then toast the underside for only 1 minute to prevent moisture loss.timing4-5 minutes, 1 minute
- ✓Grate cheddar fresh rather than using pre-shredded because anti-caking agents (cellulose) reduce melting efficiency by 15-20% and create uneven coverage.ingredient15-20% melting reduction
