πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³ Instructions

  1. 1

To make a low calorie cane sauce, in a bowl add light mayo, low sugar ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix it all together then set it in the fridge to let it thicken.

  2. 2

Cut the potatoes using a crinkle cutter or just a knife. Add some cooking oil spray and season with chicken stock powder and paprika. Mix it and air fry or oven bake.

  3. 3

Cut the chicken breast into thin strips, season them on each side, and mix it together.

  4. 4

On a plate, add cornflakes with a dash of the same seasonings and crush it into smaller pieces.

  5. 5

Dip each piece of chicken in flour, then the egg, then the cornflakes. Spray them with light cooking oil and air fry or oven bake until golden brown.

πŸ’‘ Pro Tips

  • βœ“
Crush cornflakes to 1/4-inch pieces maximum because larger pieces burn before chicken reaches 165Β°F internal temperature, while smaller pieces create better adhesion through increased surface area.technique1/4-inch pieces, 165Β°F internal
  • βœ“
Pound chicken strips to uniform 1/2-inch thickness before seasoning so they cook evenly and achieve proper browning without overcooking the thinner ends.technique1/2-inch thickness
  • βœ“
Let seasoned chicken rest 15-20 minutes at room temperature before breading because salt draws out moisture initially, then reabsorbs for better flavor penetration.timing15-20 minutes
  • βœ“
Air fry potatoes at 380Β°F for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway through, because this temperature creates the Maillard reaction for browning while the convection removes surface moisture for crispiness.equipment380Β°F, 12-15 minutes
  • βœ“
Chill the sauce for minimum 30 minutes because mayonnaise emulsion tightens as lipids solidify, creating the signature thick consistency that coats food properly.timing30 minutes minimum
