Servings:

🥛Dairy & Eggs(3)

  • 2 sticks semi-softened butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp Milk (30 ml)

🫙Pantry Staples(7)

  • 1 tsp baking soda (5 ml)
  • 2 cups (about) of semi sweet chocolate chips (480 ml)
  • 2 1/4 cup All purpose Flour (281 g)
  • 1-2 cups of powdered sugar (add more or less based on consistency) (200-400 g)
  • 3/4 cup white sugar (150 g)
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar (150 g)
  • 2 tsp vanilla (10 ml)

🧂Spices & Seasonings(1)

  • 1 tsp salt (5 ml)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1

First, make the cookie dough by mixing the butter, white sugar, and dark brown sugar. Then add the vanilla and eggs, mixing until just combined.

  2. 2

Add the flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing until combined. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.

  3. 3

For the glaze, mix the milk with powdered sugar until desired consistency is reached.

  4. 4

Prepare your pizza dough and stretch it out to size. Add glaze as a base and some chocolate chips, then par-bake at 450 degrees for three minutes.

  5. 5

Remove the dough and add cookie dough in clumps until covered. Add more chocolate chips and bake again for four minutes.

  6. 6

Coat the crust with butter and finish with extra glaze on top.

💡 Pro Tips

  • Par-bake your pizza dough at 450°F for exactly 3 minutes to create a moisture barrier that prevents the cookie dough from making the crust soggy while allowing proper heat transfer.timing450°F for 3 minutes
  • Keep cookie dough chunks between ½-¾ inch thick so they bake through in the 4-minute final bake without overcooking the pizza crust underneath.technique½-¾ inch thickness
  • Mix your glaze to a consistency of heavy cream (coats spoon but drips off) because thicker glazes won't spread during baking and thinner ones will create soggy spots.ingredientheavy cream consistency
  • Chill your cookie dough for 15-20 minutes before adding to the pizza so it holds its shape during the high-heat baking and doesn't spread into a uniform layer.timing15-20 minutes
  • Use a pizza stone preheated for 30+ minutes to ensure the bottom crust crisps properly despite the moisture from cookie dough and glaze.equipment30+ minutes preheat
